I'm sorry to hear it. My mom (87 years old) had a similar year last year, but seems to be doing okay so far this year. Best wishes to your mom!

DeleteThis might be the end of the line for her. We'll know in the next few days. It's not looking great right now.
Mind you, my dad was in a similar situation just 6 months ago where we thought he was done and he stayed in hospital almost a month, but recovered enough to move into a special care home. Maybe my mom will pull through and end up moving into the same place with him, which would be really nice for the two of them. We'll just have to wait and see...
